EXECUTIVES

Matthew Wales

PRESIDENT
MATTHEW WALES

Matthew is a locally based urban planner with over 30 years’ experience on the Central Coast and across New South Wales. He is a local boy from Pearl Beach and has been President of the Chamber of Commerce for 25 years. He is also a councillor on the Regional Advisory Council of NSW Business Central Coast, a position he has held for over 10 years where he strongly advocates for the local business community. Matthew has been involved in many successful community projects including the establishment of the Bendigo Bank, the Ettalong Beach Heritage Committee and the Peninsula Mainstreet Program.

Maddie Stephenson

Umina Beach

Maddie is the Business Manager for Stephenson Real Estate at Umina Beach.  A successful family business for over 35 years, Neville and Madeline Stephenson established the agency back in 1986. Maddie and her mum Madeline have continued their success through community projects with the CWA Umina Beach and their dance schools.  Maddie has been with the chamber for over 5 years.

Katie Smith

Katie is a lawyer with more than 35 years’ experience in Family Law. She is a talented and respected advocate for the Peninsula through her legal services and community work plus over 20 years on the Chamber Executive advising its members on legal matters. Katie raised her family here on the Peninsula, was President of the Peninsula Community Centre for many years and has been involved in many aspects of the local community.

Alan Gleeson

ALAN GLEESON

A retired accountant, Alan is also involved in the building and construction industry.  Alan has participated in numerous community projects such as the Bendigo Bank Ettalong Beach and nearly 20 years on the Executive of the Chamber of Commerce. He has raised his family on the Peninsula, all of whom are heavily invested in their local community.

DARYL LYNCH

Daryl Lynch is a business consultant who has resided on the Peninsula for over 40 years. Daryl has been involved in many community events and is dedicated to improving our local community with his volunteer work.

Erica Mitchell

ERICA MITCHELL
Business Development Manager for Ausgrid

Erica worked for Central Coast Austero for over 15 years and last year joined the team at Ausgrid as their Business Development Manager. Erica has been a great asset to the chamber for over 15 years attracting sponsorship for events such as the Brisbane Water Oyster Festival. She and her husband have raised their family here on the Peninsula for many years.

Tom Tregent

Tom is the Principal of Ettalong Beach, Umina Beach, St Huberts Island and Woy Woy Raine & Horne Real Estate offices. An accredited auctioneer of the Real Estate Institute of NSW and arguably one of the area’s most successful auctioneers with over a thousand auctions to his credit. Tom is a member of Raine and Horne’s Multi-Million Dollar Club for the last nine consecutive years and is also one of the area’s most experienced commercial agents. He continually sets benchmarks for the sale of waterfront and redevelopment properties.  As a Peninsula resident for over 30 years, Tom is an active community member (including Rotary) who is highly respected for his dedication and hard work. He has served the community as an Executive Board Member of the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce for over 20 years.

Andrew Tregent

In 2003, Andrew became the youngest franchisee in Raine & Horne’s 122 year history and was officially recognised by Max Raine at the National Awards Ceremony in 2004. During the same year, Andrew’s outstanding sales achievements gained him membership to the prestigious Multi-Million Dollar Club. He is a resident of St Huberts Island for over 30 years where he raises a young family. Andrew is highly committed to the local community. He has been a member of the Executive Board of the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years, a Justice of the Peace and an involved contributor to local events and causes.

Louise Williams

Louise is an accredited building designer who established LAW Building Design in 2001 with over 30 years’ experience throughout the Central Coast and NSW. She has won multiple State and National Design awards. Her experience includes many years as President of the Central Coast Branch of the Building Designers Association and now a recent member of the Chamber of Commerce Executive.

Debra Wales

Mainstreet Co-ordinator for the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce

DEBRA WALES
Wales & Associates Urban Design Partners

Debra is an urban design consultant who established the family business over 30 years ago. She has worked on many urban design projects on the Central Coast and throughout NSW. Her highlights have been establishing the Peninsula Mainstreet Program which upgraded and revitalised our three local town centres on the Peninsula.  She has contributed 25 years of in-kind design experience and lobbied all governments for funding for projects such as the upgrade of Woy Woy, Umina Beach, Ettalong Beach town centres and the Ettalong Beach waterfront. She has event managed many events for the chamber such as the Brisbane Water Oyster Festival, the Peninsula Business Awards and Christmas street events as well as the Umina Beach Centenary. Debra has worked for the Chamber of Commerce for 25 years, raised her family and invested into the local economy.
