The Peninsula Chamber of Commerce has recently met with new Federal Member for Robertson, Dr Gordon Reid a specially convened breakfast meeting at The Boathouse Restaurant at Koolewong.

In a dramatic turn of events and a chaotic Council Meeting, Central Coast Council has backflipped on the installation of the Australian flag banners on the light poles West Street, Umina Beach.

The Peninsula Chamber of Commerce has today called on Central Coast Council to scrap its controversial Street Banner Policy which deliberately bans the flying of the Australian flag banner on Council infrastructure and in particular, the West Street light poles in Umina Beach leading up to Australia Day.
